We had a great evening last Saturday for the opening of French artist Johanna Olk’s solo exhibition “Idle Youth” at 1700 Naud curated Innocnts. Nice warm fall weather greeted a comfortable sized crowd for an evening of art and music. Big thanks to Venetian Blinds for a killer live set of ambient rock and roll and much appreciation to Peaking Lights for keeping the vibes right all night on the turn tables. Shout out to the homie MoreGnar for always snapping pictures at the events. Johanna exhibition remains up until November 18th with regular viewing hours typically 2-6pm through the week. Plenty of great artwork still available if you’re interested.

A new photography zine by the one & only LADY MUSTARD releasing this Saturday!
“It Never Rains In California” is a film photography journey up and down the coast of California as witnessed by the Lady Mustard (Maddison Kellie) on her solo travels this year and last. Ranging from Nor Cal trims sessions to hazy San Francisco nights to warm Malibu days, the zine is an honest presentation of the California we know and love without all the hype or dazzle.
These zines are printed on quality paper stock full color in Australia and limited to 25 copies in the first edition. All signed and number by Mustard herself with each order including a pack of California wild flower seeds!
RELEASING THIS SATURDAY 12PM PST
Our Parisian friend Antwan Horfee just finished up a truly amazing and totally original animation. Love the world Antwan creates and how imaginative he proves to be time and time again.
For those who can't make the show in person, here's the exhibition artwork. Some are sold and some available. For an up-to-date exhibition catalog please click here.

Innocnts returns to Shepard Fairey’s Subliminal Projects in Echo Park to curate the second edition of WE ARE THE ROMANTIC ONES, a Saint Valentine’s Day group exhibition including emotive driven painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, and installation. Last year’s one-night-only exhibition was greeted by warm crowds and goods vibes. A collection of long stem roses was available to any gal in attendance and Innocnts bootlegged some red wine from a Trader Joe’s truck to set the mood right. It was such a successful night that Subliminal Projects offered Innocnts another go this year. This time around the exhibition will run for 3 weeks from February 14th through March 3rd. The opening reception on Saint Valentine’s Night will include a special intimate Hip-Hop performance about a girlfriend by Kapeesh and select oldies vinyl by Jordan Blackmon (Toro Y Moi guitarist). Join us at Subliminal Projects Wednesday, February 14th from 7pm to 10pm as we kick off the opening reception.
