 THE BOARD RESCUE

INNOCNTS and C List Boards originally joined forces to save a classic board from certain death at auction. Inspired by the GameStop Reddit campaign, we thought why not collectively buy a classic “wall hanger” and ride the damn as the shaper originally intended. The more money we raised the better board we can purchase. Good news is we raised a collective $5k but bad news was come auction time, even with the eBay bidding prowess of Georgie Boy (C-List Boards), we still couldn’t afford or bring ourselves to overpay for a sled from the California Gold Auction lineup. What a shame. But in true INNOCNTS fashion, even when we lose we win, we pivoted and invested the money into the acquirement of not 1 but 2 classic “auction quality” sleds. These boards, were part of a revered collection and destined to be dry-docked for years to come until we collectively saved them. Now they shall ride the sunset into Valhalla once again as the shapers originally intended of them. The cycle is complete.

“Ride” days are scheduled for future dates and all contributors with $100 or more in the pot received a member card which upon presenting gives the card holder access to ride the boards anytime they’re on the beach. We are surfboard advocates just like you who think these boards ought to be ridden not hung.
