Our friend Umar Rashid has just wrapped up another amazing exhibition at the renowned Blum Gallery in Culver City, Los Angeles. The show runs through the weekend, if you happen to catch this post in time. Either way, be sure to give him a follow on Instagram and explore more of his work.
We’re excited to bring back our “We Are The Romantic Ones” exhibition on Saint Valentine’s Night in 2025. This will be the fourth edition of the show, showcasing emotive, heart-driven artwork by a diverse group of artists we’re proud to call friends. The exhibition will run for a month, with the opening on Valentine’s Night from 6-9pm. Drop us a message for pre-show catalog of available work.
Innocnts Gallery will be participating in the 3rd annual OPaf @otherplacesartfair, taking place March 14th and 15th at Battery Leary-Merriam, Angels Gate Cultural Center, San Pedro, California.
OPaf 2020 features forty three art project spaces and artists from the United States and Mexico.
Innocnts Gallery will be working with artists @nicoledodson_ and @stepchild666 to create a site specific installation with included performances (TBH) on both days of fair.
For more information leading up to fair give @otherplacesartfair a follow.
We recently commissioned our friend Nathan McKee to create an original cut & paste piece based off some of surfing’s most important film contributions. This piece was a gift for Joel Tudor as a modest tip of hat for his contributions to surfing (and he put us up at the house a few times). All Nathan’s work is hand cut and pasted using construction paper. The piece measures ? and will be released as a print very soon.
Some pretty rad shows over the years at Innocnts Gallery. Really cool mix of folks looking back expressing themselves. Appreciate this small community we’ve built. Thanks to the artists, gallery patrons, and collectors for contributing. Look forward to more in 2019!

We had a great evening last Saturday for the opening of French artist Johanna Olk’s solo exhibition “Idle Youth” at 1700 Naud curated Innocnts. Nice warm fall weather greeted a comfortable sized crowd for an evening of art and music. Big thanks to Venetian Blinds for a killer live set of ambient rock and roll and much appreciation to Peaking Lights for keeping the vibes right all night on the turn tables. Shout out to the homie MoreGnar for always snapping pictures at the events. Johanna exhibition remains up until November 18th with regular viewing hours typically 2-6pm through the week. Plenty of great artwork still available if you’re interested.
Our Parisian friend Antwan Horfee just finished up a truly amazing and totally original animation. Love the world Antwan creates and how imaginative he proves to be time and time again.
